Pacific Athletics athletes Zarria Storm and Alex Pearse were the only Vancouver Island representatives in last weekend's B.C. High School CE competition in Abbotsford.  Both athletes hit the awards presentation with Zarria finishing with the silver medal and Alex taking 5th place.

Zarria had 4 personal bests in her heptathlon which included a 4 meter PB in the javelin and a .5 second improvement in the 100 meter hurdles.

Alex had some trouble with the pole vault and high jump portions of the decathlon but came alive in the last event, the 1500 meter to move up from 7th to 5th.
